Let's Swim!

Year 1 have been swimming like champions this week! The students have all engaged brilliantly during their lessons, listening well to the instructors and giving their best efforts in the pool.The students have displayed their growing independence - getting organised for swimming and remembering to care for their belongings. Keep it up kids!
Thank you to all parents and friends that joined us for our end of year liturgy this week. The children led our prayer experience with reverence and enthusiasm and we are very proud of them!
Ho, Ho Ho! Only one and a bit weeks to go!
In Week 9, our Water Safety Program continues. Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered to help with this, your assistance allows this program to go ahead! A timetable of parent helpers can be found in the 'Parental Resources Tab' so be sure to check this. On 'swimming days' students will need to bring swimmers, goggles, a towel, thongs and a seperate bag to put wet swimmers in. Don't forget to label everything!
Christmas carols are on this Thursday evening. Year 1 is very excited to share their song with our community! Students are asked to wear a Christmas top, denim & sunglasses. Also on Thursday during school, students will have a "disco" for our gem jar reward this term. They can wear some festive cheer- such as hat, hair ties, shirt etc. SOOO exciting!
