Take a look at what some of the Year 1 crew have been up to during their lunch times and on the weekend. We have some engineers in the making by the looks of the massive domino chain and maybe a future olympic middle distance runner with Kobey smashing out the 1500m race over the weekend at the GC50 running event. Go kids.

In Week 8 our Water Safety Program begins. Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered to help with this, your assistance allows this program to go ahead! A timetable of parent helpers can be found in the 'Parental Resources Tab' so be sure to check this. On 'swimming days' students will need to bring swimmers, goggles, a towel, thongs and a seperate bag to put wet swimmers in. In preparation for Monday it may be a good idea for your child to have a practice of getting changed in and out of their swimmers so they are confident in doing so. Don't forget to label everything!
Also in Week 8 is Step up Day. On Tuesday our little Year 1 Graduates will head next door into Year 2 for the morning. This will be a great chance for them to get familiar with their teachers for next year and the classroom setting.
Tuesday afternoon will be our Year1 - End of Year Liturgy. We hope to see you there if you can make it. Information regarding this can also be found in the 'Parental Resources Tab' below.
