A Holy Week Blessing

It was a truly special moment as our Year 1 students stepped into the roles of faithful servants to lead our school community in a beautiful reenactment of the Last Supper. Watching our youngest learners embody the spirit of discipleship, they shared the bread and wine with such reverence and grace, reminding us all of the profound love found in the Eucharist. We are so incredibly proud of the prayerful way they entered into this Liturgy; they were truly a light to our school, showing us what it means to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. Thank you for supporting them in their faith journey as we enter the stillness of Holy Week together.
We are excited to welcome Mrs Pratt to our Year 1 family as she joins Mrs Ryan and Mrs Clarke in the Year 1 teaching team.
Building strong foundations in Year 1 is such an exciting journey, and your support at home makes all the difference! To help your little ones flourish, we encourage you to make daily reading, practising tricky words, and quick number fluency activities a part of your home routine. These small, consistent moments—whether it’s sharing a favourite story or racing to solve a math fact—build the confidence and skills they need to thrive in the classroom. Thank you for being such wonderful partners in your child’s learning; we love seeing their progress!
