Partnerships in Learning!
Fri, Nov 29th, 2024
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents who participated in our recent learning conferences. These conferences provided a wonderful opportunity for families to engage in their child's educational journey. By collaborating with teachers to discuss learning goals, parents helped create a shared understanding of each student's progress and aspirations. This partnership fostered a supportive environment that encouraged learners to take ownership of their education.
A special highlight of the conferences was the students' presentations of their persuasive advertisements, some examples can be seen below.
Thank you!
Year 2 Team
Welcome to Week 8!
Our Water Safety Program begins on Monday for students in Year 2. Please ensure that students come prepared with their swimmers, towel, rash shirt, and any other necessary items required for swimming.
We extend our gratitude to the parent helpers who will be accompanying us to the pool. Additional information regarding our swimming timetable can be found in the parental resources section at the bottom of this page.
Our annual Christmas Carols will take place in Week 9. Year 2 students are encouraged to wear festive or Christmas attire with a ‘rap’ style theme. This includes accessories like chains, sunglasses, and baseball caps worn backwards.
We encourage children to exchange Christmas cards at this joyful time of the year. Please refrain from including candy canes, chocolates, lollies or other treats with cards. We thank you for your assistance.
