Graduation Success
Fri, Dec 5th, 2025
We have had an exceptionally busy week in year 6. The students absolutely shone at the Graduation Mass. We were so proud of the way they participated in the service and accepted their certificates highlighting the end of their primary school years. You can see in the photos the special moment that the students shared their letters of gratitude with their parents. Students have been busy working on their autobiographies and enjoying moments to reminisce about their lives thus far. We have also had time for some word association games connected to our last mentor text for the year Azaria: ATrue History. The students worked in two groups to compete for the best word associated with a given word.
We are fast approaching the end of the year with many activities still to go. The swimming carnival is on Wednesday which is always a fun event. Students who have been a part of the instrumental program will showcase their talents on Thursday morning. Christmas carols on Thursday evening. Students will continue to work on their autobiographies while at school. Parents are warmly invited to attend the year 6 classroom on Tuesday of Week 10 from 9am. The Year 6 students will showcase their autobiographies. We ask that everyone bring a small plate to share. There will be tea and coffee facilities in the classroom.
Christmas Appeal
This year we are helping St Vincent de Paul by collecting gifts for a particular family in need. We welcome gifts and Christmas goodies for 6 children.
Twin boys - 12 years of age, and girls aged 17, 15, 13, & 7.
Please do not wrap the gifts.Thank you for being so supportive.
Could all parents ensure that students' uniforms are worn correctly as we move closer to the end of the year. We ask that you look for student badges to be worn at the Graduation Mass and end of year Liturgy. Shoes need to be school code and in good order. Only small earrings and one pair and a cross around the necklace can be worn while in uniform.
✅We require consent for the swimming carnival on 10th December
Year 6 costume for the Christmas carols is denim jeans or skirt and a Christmas theme top (red, green, white) plus a Santa Hat.
