Writing: The Wave Hill Walk-off
This week, we launched our new writing unit by exploring the historical significance of the Wave Hill Walk-off. The students have shown incredible maturity while discussing this pivotal moment in Australian history. Their ability to connect historical facts with powerful, emotive storytelling is already shining through in their initial drafts.
Sporting Success: Polding Trials
Huge congratulations to the students who represented our school so well at recent Diocesan events! We are thrilled to announce that several students were successful and will now move on to trial for Polding teams. We are incredibly proud of your dedication, sportsmanship, and your hard-earned achievements.
Learning Conference Gratitude
A sincere thank you to all the families who joined us for our Learning Conferences. We truly value these partnerships! It was a joy to see the students take such pride in their education, confidently highlighting their personal goals. Your ongoing support is vital to their success this year.
Continuing to SHINE.

We have been incredibly impressed by the work ethic displayed across the classrooms this week. The students are proving themselves to be diligent and respectful learners, tackling new challenges with focus and maturity. It is wonderful to see them setting such a high standard for themselves during this busy term.
Our Year 6 students are truly shining as the school’s eldest leaders. Whether they are managing their specific leadership roles or modelling positive behaviour on the playground, their impact is evident. We are proud of how seriously they have embraced these responsibilities, showing great initiative and reliability every single day.
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us for our class liturgy. Your engagement makes a world of difference, and it was rewarding to see such a strong turnout. The students truly appreciated your presence, making the celebration of their leadership journey even more meaningful and memorable.
Future Leaders: Kindergarten Tours
Preparation is officially underway for our upcoming Kindergarten tours! Our Year 6 students have been busy refining their guiding skills and public speaking. We have no doubt they will be outstanding ambassadors for our school, welcoming new families with the warmth and leadership that defines our graduating class.
The Main Event: Camp 2026
The wait is almost over! We are shifting our full focus to our upcoming school camp, and the excitement in the Year 6 classrooms is absolutely electric. It is going to be a phenomenal week filled with adventure, team-building, and those "core memories" that define the primary school experience.
Packing & Preparation
By now, your child should have brought home a 'What to Bring' flyer. This checklist is vital for ensuring they have the right gear for our adventures. If that piece of paper has mysteriously vanished, don’t panic! We can send another, or you can access the file on Compass.
