NAIDOC WEEK

Last week we Celebrated NAIDOC Week. On Friday afternoon we were lucky enough to be joined by Carol Stubbs a proud indigenous lady who shared with us some of her knowledge around around bush tucker. The children learnt about all different types of plants and animals that are edible and how her people would locate certain animals and plants so they could eat. The children enjoyed learning about the different techniques and especially enjoyed trying some of the bush tucker themselves. We almost had every student at school on Wednesday and the weather was nice so we took a class photo with a nice wattle tree. Hope you enjoy.
