Standout Performers

What an absolutely spectacular week it has been for Year 6! Our classroom has been buzzing with creativity as the students work incredibly hard on authoring their very own picture books. Modeled off the beautiful mentor text The Feather, everyone is carefully weaving a unique symbol of hope into their narratives.

On top of their literary efforts, the students blew us away with their school assembly item on Jesus’ resurrection. The kids were simply awesome, delivering a thoughtful and powerful performance. A massive thank you goes to Ms. Ryan for helping organize such a great display to mark the occasion.

Finally, the stage called! We competed in the Murwillumbah Eisteddfod, and our talented students placed first! While they are always winners in our eyes, it was wonderful to see their dedication rewarded. Mr. Ryan did an amazing job as the conductor and deserves a huge congratulations for such an incredible effort in leading the group to victory.
