The Fortnight That Was: Grooves, Games, and Grace
What an incredibly vibrant and action-packed fortnight it has been for Year 6! We have jumped from the dance floor to the running track, shared in sacred celebrations, and capped it all off with some truly inspiring public speaking. Here is a look back at everything our amazing students have achieved.

Grooving at the School Disco
The energy was sky-high last week for the school disco, and the dance floor was absolutely pumping! It was fantastic to see our Year 6 students leading the way with so much enthusiasm, showing off some seriously impressive moves, and catching up with friends across the grades. They danced the night away and brought an infectious sense of fun to the whole evening. A massive thank you to everyone involved in organizing such a memorable night.

Fun and Fitness at the Athletics Carnival
We swapped our dancing shoes for running spikes and hit the track for our annual Athletics Carnival. The day was completely full of fun, laughter, and high energy from start to finish. Whether sprinting for the finish line, trying out field events, or loudly cheering on their house teammates, the students showed outstanding sportsmanship. It was wonderful to see everyone participating with huge smiles on their faces!

Reverence at our Year 4–6 Eucharist Mass
On a spiritual note, we were so pleased to come together to celebrate our Year 4, 5, and 6 Eucharist Mass. We extend a warm thank you to all the parents and family members who were able to join us in worship.

Father Michael was absolutely full of praise for our senior students after the service. He specifically mentioned how thrilled he was with their deep engagement, respect, and reverence throughout the liturgy. It is always a proud moment when our Year 6 leaders set such a beautiful example for the younger grades.

Public Speaking Champion: Congratulations, Violet!
Finally, we have some huge news from the classroom. A massive congratulations to Violet, who took out the top spot in our grade public speaking competition!

Violet delivered an incredibly insightful and powerful speech about the famous World War II resistance fighter, Nancy Wake. Standing up to speak in front of your peers takes an immense amount of courage, and Violet handled it beautifully, capturing the audience's attention with her compelling words. Brilliant effort, Violet!

Well done to all of Year 6 for another outstanding fortnight of participation, faith, and leadership. You continue to make us proud every single day!
