Learning about our body!

In English, the students have been creating persuasive texts arguing that "The government should continue to protect Macquarie Island and places like it," using our class book, One Small Island by Alison Lester, as inspiration. After completing their writing, the students presented their arguments through a speech. We are very proud of the students for being so brave and standing in front of their peers to share their ideas!

In Science, we have been learning about the circulatory and respiratory systems. The students have been exploring how our hearts and lungs work together and have created some detailed diagrams to demonstrate their learning.
