True Leaders

The first two weeks of the term have been exceptionally productive, with our Year 6 students returning with a commendable focus and readiness to learn. As they step into their final year of primary school, they are already displaying the maturity and leadership qualities we expect from our seniors.

Classroom teachers have been particularly impressed by the poise and reverence the students showed while leading by example during the Easter Liturgy and Founders Day Mass. Their involvement extended into the various Founders Day whole-school activities, where they acted as role models for their younger peers. A special shout out for leading the dance to 'Dusty Bibles' which was a great way to end or morning assembly. They had everyone singing and dancing!

Furthermore, their confidence has shone through during the Peer Support programs, where they have guided younger students with empathy and clarity. We have received numerous reports from staff across the school praising their efforts and conduct. It is a pleasure to see our Year 6 cohort embracing their roles as school leaders with such dedication and heart.
