Celebrations and Congratulations

Week 7:
We are incredibly proud of our Year 5 students for completing all four of their NAPLAN assessments in Week 7. Every student adapted well to the changes in these assessments and took them in their stride without letting them faze them. We look forward to receiving the results and seeing the growth and progress of each of you.

On Friday afternoon, the students had a great time creating their own 3D artworks, which are now proudly displayed in our window. These pieces create a fantastic optical illusion for our visitors to enjoy.

Week 8:
In Week 8, we began our new English unit centred around the hybrid text Bright New World. Using this text, students have explored the various elements that authors use to entertain, inform, and persuade their readers. We are excited to begin our assessment task, where students will use the Book Creator website to produce their own hybrid text.
