Meeting our Buddies

On Friday, we had the pleasure of meeting our Year 1 Buddies for the first time! It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to build connections with their younger peers and begin fostering a sense of leadership and responsibility. During our visit, we shared a persuasive writing piece that we had carefully crafted, aiming to convince our buddies why we would make the best Year 1 buddy. Students took great pride in their writing, using strong arguments and engaging language to highlight their kindness, patience, and willingness to support their buddy throughout the year. It was a fantastic way to introduce ourselves, and we are excited to continue developing this special bond over the year!
