Monday this week was the 11th of November, also known as Remembrance Day. This day is an annual event to remember the fallen soldiers of war that sacrificed their lives so we can have ours. The way we commemorate this event was by drawing poppies, colouring, and cutting them out. While we did that we also got a piece of paper around 4-5 centimetres in length and 2-3 centimetres high. Therefore writing our names down. After we’ve done all those, all of us got a fellow peer to take a picture of all of the items together. Hence made it black and white and glued poppies to make it stand out into our hands, with the final part being writing down “peace is in our hands” next to our hand, to declare no hatred among others. After all of those steps, we finally hung them up in the classroom to remember the fallen soldiers.
