With a short week due to two pupil-free days, we made the most of our time in class by diving into Malala’s Magic Pencil. The students were captivated by Malala's story, and it sparked meaningful discussions about the disparity in rights and opportunities across the world. Many shared how grateful they feel to have access to education, making the lesson especially impactful.
We also took advantage of the beautiful summer weather, engaging in a range of Play Is The Way activities outdoors. The students loved the chance to be active, working together to practice teamwork, empathy, and resilience. It was wonderful to see them using these essential social skills in such a lively setting.
This short week set the tone for a positive term ahead, and we’re looking forward to more deep discussions and active learning opportunities!
